Now at long last we have a way for you to buy my songs and Cd's AND for a very fair price. I have joined up with an online retail store and distribution company called: It's About Music.com (www.itsaboutmusic.com). You will be able to purchase for download full albums and/or individual tracks from 6 of my previously released Cd's ("Frontier Model", "Tornado Alley", "Old Hand", "Blue Room" and "Tender Loving Hell: Best of Terry Lee Hale", "Celebration What For"). The download songs are all high quality streaming and will sound great on your home stereo. And soon all the CD's will also be available for purchase via your postal service. Purchase as many of the individual songs as you want via the downloaded files or order the hardcopy CD's which will be mailed directly to you. The only difference from the original European releases is that you won't get the original 6 or 8 page CD box insert. You will get a full color, 4-panel insert with the vital information (i.e.-musicians, producers, addresses, ect.) And with the original artwork and photo's. It's a fun site to look through and with many musicians to read about and explore. With most of the songs you can have a 2-minute preview as well. It's a great resource for those of us who listen to and support music that falls outside mainstream marketing and retail networks.
The "store" is located in America so you'll need to trade in dollars. As a promotion special for .79 cents (normally .89) you can order any song or combination of. No CD is priced more than $13. A good price for you and it's great for me as most of that money comes directly into my pocket. Its About Music takes a small portion of that money as their share and I keep the rest. No middle person or distributor. Mostly though I'm happy to be able offer my songs anywhere in the world. Ya need a computer and ADSL for listening , a credit card and also a little ambition I suppose. This CD store and online shopping is a great resource for independent and "little" business folks like myself. Now I can truly be worldwide! Argentina? No problem. Japan? No problem. America? You got it.
Important! If you live in Europe we ask that you continue to support your local outlets and channels for buying my music. It's the sales of those European Cd's that give me (and others like myself!) the money we need to continue to make these Cd's. Glitterhouse and Blue Rose need your support more than ever. As my records have only been released in Europe it's been difficult (and expensive as imports) for those folks that live elsewhere to own my CD's and this step will hopefully help to remedy that.
